About Us
Steve Carroll’s Background:
Image Maker Hair Styling was founded by Steve Carroll in 1976. Steve graduated from the Oklahoma School of Barbering with an emphasis in hairstyling. He was further trained in European hair styling techniques by Vidal Sassoon. Steve also trained in the Edmond Roffler techniques in which a straight razor is used to cut and blend the lengths of hair. The Roffler methods focus on an approach to haircutting and hair styling that elevate the work of the stylist to that of a designer.
Steve’s Awards include:
A Redken Achievement Award in 1974 at the regional education seminar in hair structure and chemistry.
In 1989, Image Maker became an Ambassador Salon member.
Ongoing Training and Education:
Attended “Discovery” seminars in 1982, 1983, 1984, 1988, 1990, 1991, 1994 and 1995.
Attended a management and motivation seminar titled “The Challenge of Success” in 1977.
